Did she lead me on or does she have feelings for me?

I've liked my friend for about 6 years, and the other night I finally asked her if she had feelings for me and she said no, but I've been getting signals saying otherwise so now I'm afraid she's either leading me on or is afraid to tell me the truth because she has a bf. I've been gone in basic and A school for the Navy for 4 months. Over the last two months we've talked for hours just about everyday, n she was waiting for me at my cousins house when I got home. The next day she called me upset n crying after having a bad day and getting cursed out by her bf, so u went to her and comforted her n calmed her down. The next night we went out to eat, n the night after she went out to eat with me and my family. She seems so much happier when she's around me than compared to her bf. I just don't know why she says she doesn't have feelings for me if all signs say otherwise. She doesn't seem like the kind of girl to lead me on, she's the sweetest girl I've ever met n I want her to come with me when I leave but I don't know what to do. I think she's afraid of leaving her bf and she knows I could give her everything she wants what do I do?

This is one of those stories I've heard all too many times before. You're her friend. That's how she sees you and how she will always see you. She told you she doesn't have feelings for you. She sticks with a boyfriend that makes her cry. Those right there are all the signs you need to worry about. I've been in the same situation. I chose to look at the signs I wanted to see. They were there, no doubt, but they weren't the ones that really mattered. You'll only be the guy she goes to when her man makes her feel bad or she just wants to hang with a friend. You'll have to decide whether you're okay with that or not. I never was.

She finds comfort in you and security, something she doesn't feel with her boyfriend. She might always stick with him because she loves him but can go to you to comfort her and to make her feel better. I don't think she's intentionally leading you on but feels like you're a really good friend.

When nice guys like girls it's rather new bcs they've been with too many assholes that they think they don't deserve a nice guy. Maybe she just sees you as a really good friend that's why she's so comfortable around you

she could just think of you as a really great friend. she knows you know she a bf and she specifically said no when you asked if she had feelings for you so i don't feel like she's leading you on at all.
