Girls, do you enjoy being called "sexy"?

i have been thinking about this for quet a while and to me as a guy, i find it a bad complement for a girl

It depends by who and when/where it is used. If I am with my man and it's just us that's fine, I would be flattered by that. But if in a random place or a comment from someone you don't know I would be more creeped out and disrespected than anything else. If you only call a girl sexy she is going to think that all you are interested in is physical appearance and that can turn her off seeing as most women are more about the emotions than the physical appearances.

I usually don't get called sexy by itself.
Depending on what I am wearing I will get called:
gorgeous, beautiful , or pretty.

I think it all depends on how the girl represents herself.
If she's showing off a lot of skin or posing in a very suggestive manner (well yeah she looks sexy).
So, it's not an insult especially if that's the look someone is going for.

From my boyfriend? I'm okay with it. From absolutely anyone else? No, because "sexy" obviously implies an interest in sex, which is something of a come-on.

I don't use the word "sexy" unless I intimately know her.

In essence I wouldn't meet a female the first time and call her sexy; I feel that's an overbearing word to use that early knowing someone. :-P.

I like calling females sexy, but I have to know her decently well to be comfortable with that. :)
