I get "handsome, interesting, sexy, confident, or interesting" from women all the time. To be honest it feels good but it also feels strange and catches me by surprise all the time. It's often from women who I don't expect to say something like that. Hostess at a restaurant. A woman passing me indoors or outdoors. A female bartender. The wife in a couple I'm chatting with. It feels strange because I honestly don't see myself that way. I wander through life pretty certain I'm just an average guy who blends into the background wherever I go. Maybe not...

If I'm single, and also think the person calling me "sexy"... is sexy themselves (sexy to me). Then yes. Otherwise no. no I do not. (I'm talking about in real life)

Because its especially awkward to react to... if it's somebody I'm not interested in. It's so forward, that It's hard to just say "thanks" accept it as a compliment and move on.

I feel awkward in few situations in life. This has made me feel awkward several times (that I can remember off the top of my head)

For a guy, it's like a woman grabbing my butt.

If I like her too... great.

IF I don't... it's awkwardly forward...

I'll definitely take the compliment but I rather be called pretty, beautiful, cute. I feel the word sexy implies one is dressed in provocative clothing which I usually don't wear... unless I'm dating someone. I'm usually not too risqué😇
