I often wonder what tall guys get out of asking this question? They know they're the more desired males out of the two and yet still feel the need to post these questions.

Is it some sort of supremacy feeling among tall men perhaps? Most women will take a tall man over a short one. Offer a girl a guy who is 5'6 and a guy who is 6'2 and most women will automatically choose the taller of the two guys. Much in the same way a guy will pick a woman who isn't fat over one who is fat, it's just preference.

Tall guys win what? More women? Yeah they probably do, but I'd take a multibillion dollar fortune over women any day of the week because a woman couldn't possibly make me feel as good as never having to worry about where my next meal is coming from or the security of finance.

Klaatu51, it has nothing to do with media and everything to do with what women prefer. Us short men have to face the reality that our height works against us and our dating pool is that much smaller. Now that's not to say we cannot attract women, I attract women all the time, but you have to accept things for what they are and carry on with life. The worst thing a human can do is worry about things they cannot control. If a woman wants to reject me because of my height, she's more than welcome to, that's her business.

I'd rather be short than being so ugly that I have to hide my face behind make up and resorting to cosmetic surgery and cosmetics just to make myself attractive to the opposite sex.

Like I said in a similar post to this, I prefer tall men, but I usually end up with the shorter guys. If he's taller than me by at least a few inches, I'm content. But some men and women do like short men. My best friend actually prefers short guys, which I always found peculiar. I guess I just don't see the appeal. To each their own though.

I am 5'4 so its not really hard to be taller than me. I want someone who is at least taller than me when I wear heels. Personal experience: Most guys I have liked and dated were shorter than me. I don't see what's the issue with people making a big deal about short men. It depends on certain people's preferences, and experience! I'm dating a guy who is 2 inches shorter than me, no biggie! I like tall men as well honestly it's the inside that counts, not the height!
