I'm good friends with a girl who acts really friendly and we joke around. We friends but flirt quite heavily to be honest. But when I asked her out she rejected me. I must admit I was gutted. But because we had such a laugh and had a mutal group of friends I was happy to be buddies. It was awkward at first but we eased back into the old ways soon enough. But lately she's been flirting again through text and been geinely really nice. Along with a mischevious clint in her eye like she knows she's playing me. For example at my house warming tonight she flirted with me quite heavily in the kitchen. But whenever someone came in she automatically put up barriers acting like I was creeping her out. She even declared that I was creepy and a little false. I was genuinely annoyed but just ignored it.. Then we started talking about how our friends were getting married etc. And I mentioned about relationships with guys or girls messing with folks heads.. She looked rather sheepish when we spoke in a group.. It's just weird because she has been badly hurt by guys, but at the same time I've been nothing but consistent and patient! But it's like I'm being used to feed her ego. Other times she will completely blank me. Or be really sweet. It's hard to maintain a friendship because it's like she wants more then backs off almost as soon as she dips her toe in. I would love for us to have something more but I'm happy to friends but it's like a yoyo scenario! If I ask if anythings wrong I know she will say it's In my head lol. What should I do? As I'm prepared to move on but don't want to incase we do have something. Xo
It sounds like she wants to see how for you'll go for her. I think you should show her how much you care for her and are ready to be more than friends. If she rejects you after that, then she's not worth your time and you should leave her alone so she can figure things out.

It sounds like she is being a tease & using you for attention. I wouldn't waste anymore time on her, find a woman really wants you, & won't play you like this.
