so i was just waiting for class to start and she came up to me and said that she think that i would be very smart if i studied a bit more and then class start after that she acted like it never even happened (not that i have)

It doesn't seem like anything but as you may know you can never tell with girls, they're too tricky too work out. But it probably some random comment to try get you to work harder, and who knows she probably might like you if you were smart (if you are up to the effort).
