She got hair and eyebrows done and i told her she looks so beautiful and she responded thank u. wouldn't you be spelled out if she was appreciated? Seems rather dismissive

Eh I wouldn't say she was being insincere or dismissive necessarily man. Girls can be kinda hard to read sometimes. Saying "thank u" after a compliment is pretty normal and common.

She may have just been playing it cool and not trying to make a big deal of the compliment. Or maybe she didn't want to seem too enthusiastic since it was just a casual text conversation. Girls also get compliments on their looks all the time, so a simple "thank u" is usually sufficient.

I wouldn't read too much into the fact that she didn't use more words. Unless she seemed cold or unfriendly in other texts, I'd say just take the "thank u" at face value as her appreciating the compliment. She probably didn't mean anything bad by it.

If you're interested in her, I'd say keep the conversations light and fun. Compliment her again if something else changes and see how she responds then. But for now I wouldn't worry that her "thank u" meant she wasn't appreciative. Girls just respond to stuff differently than dudes sometimes, ya know?
