I've complimented my co-worker because she seemed insecure about herself since she can't find time for a new haircut and such. I've told her "you're just perfect the way you are " and she looked at me and said "I've never been told that before, except for my daughter" and our other co-worker said "I guess you found your new dream guy" (since we had some jokes going on in the past) and she looked at him as if she wanted to slap him.
Now do you think this was something serious to her what he said, or was it just about the compliments?

What Girls Said
I presume what your other co-worker said offended her. She liked your compliment but your other co-worker spoiled that moment for her.
