Why does she ignore my compliments?

So I'm 18, this girls 17, and yesterday we're texting about work:

Me: Yeah, but you were sick today. How did you manage to look so cute even though you were sick? Some kinda magic trick you got going on?

Her: LOLOLOLOL you kidding me? I looked like ******* death today! and I was halfway falling asleep

Me: Nah I'm not, I thought you looked great. It's more fun to work when we got the prettiest cashier in the store working ya know? :)

Her: But I really was falling asleep LOL

its because she likes the comments and the more she sais are you kidding etc

the more you will compliment her trying to convince her.

its standard practise on our behalf lol if she just said thanks that would leave no more room fo

r another compliment so we pretend we don't agree.

i assure you she was made up and pleased on the other end of the phone

she doesn't take compliments well. even if a girls has like Beyonce beauty, she still insecure inside and would rather not talk about the subject at all
