Depends how much. Too much isn't nice at all, it's kinda gross, in MY opinion... I have heard a ton of girls say that whole gorilla look is sexy.
Smooth is sexy when his body is hot, because it feels nice to run your hands over.
That thing on the stomach though, that line of hair that goes from the belly button down to the crotch is just drool worthy though. That line is sooo sexy, and I've never met a girl who didn't agree with that.

I don't like it if there's a TON. I've seen some guys who look like they have a literal carpet on their chest.. and to be honest, I don't find that attractive.

It just so happens that the last couple guys I've dated didn't have chest hair, and i prefer it that way. But a normal amount or light hair is fine. And I wouldn't ask a guy to shave it or anything.

  But my ultimate preference is no hair. Especially if you have a muscular chest, I think it looks nice without hair.

Not a fan if it's really hairy but a tiny bit is okay. But I wouldn't not date somebody if he did have a hairy chest, it's just a small thing in the entire package. :)
