I've tried 2 different sizes but they both seem to do that... like at first its ok but after a while I can feel the back strap laying up against my ass**** and have to pick it out. Is that normal to do that or is there any way to stop it from happening? And before people say stuff I didn't start wearing them to be sexy or anything just to stop VPL.

A thong is generally going to lay the way it is cut and sewed together. Consider the shape and the cut when buying a pair. Also, some thongs are entirely made of elasticized materials, while others have elements that are non-elastic.

My wife says she has had the best experience with the entirely elasticized variety.

That's the way a thong wears. It's kind of supposed to disappear into your crack. If you don't like the feeling of it I'd try bikini style underwear, you can buy them seamless or "invisible" so that there's less VPL. Try LaSenza or Victoria's Secret

They do just more or less. I find that some thongs that I buy really ''rids'' up, maybe you should try thicker ones or try a bigger size. If you choose a size too small they will ride up!
