Depends what edits they make. Changing filter or beauty shot, naw that's cool. If they edit their body using advanced photoshop skills to look different on a dating site, that shows they are really insecure. Filters and effects... Have at it.
As for your update, it depends what edits. If she had a bit more acne because she used beauty shot, that's fine. If she looks entirely different because she used advanced photoshop... that speaks volumes about her, and not just her appearance...
That's just my feeling. Most people understand that people use filters when taking photos.

I think its cool when they edit their photos, its something appealing they made to look at. I really don't mind it, im not judging her for her picture anyways.
Of course it is deceitful. If you find someone attractive in pics and they don't look like that in real life then it's annoying. I don't get how girls can over do it when editing their pics. Like we all know you don't look like that
Sometimes I filter and sometimes I don't. It's fun for a change.

honestly, most of the time in edited pictures they look even more ugly. Cause what happens the effect added only accentuates one specific thing (for example your teeth) and the rest of your face is weird and your teeth aswel. On natural pics its your overal beauty which will always be more sexy
I mean it is deceitful but every girl edits their pictures too some extent, Its at the point where they #nomakeup#nofilter every time they take a un-edited picture.
So because its such a common practice its kinda hard to really get upset when a girl looks nothing like her pictures.
I can't blame girls for doing it though, we all want to feel attractive.I use filters on my pictures..
I don't care lmao, whatever makes them happy.
< That one doesn't have a filter..
But, yeah. If they wanna edit their pictures. Let them.I really don't care, to be honest. I don't find it deceitful or anything like that, although I do like to be able to see the girl's eyes.
As long as she didn't do more than add a filter or edit the brightness, I don't think it's very deceitful. You can't change that much about a person by using a Nashville filter.
It signals a little insecurity, though only a little, since they did post or share the pic.
By "edit", do you mean click on the black/white or sepia filter, make it blurry around the edges, and add some generic quote on top of it?
Oh yeah, I lurv that stuff. Lurv it all day longI don't care about girls flaws of her skin
so makes no difference to melol actually dated a girl like this once. i was really disappointed and felt betrayed.
If all your pics are edit, I think you're actually ugly.
Yes it is, as if makeup isn't deceitful enough.
that they're insecure if they do...
How do you edit pics?
Umm i'd say may be they're not confident
Its fake and not cool
