Honestly, I'm not entirely sure other than it's a very popular pose and many people follow the rest of the crowd. I took one picture like that and then deleted it I felt it was stupid and classless. I just smile in my pictures.

I think it could also be that they;re trying the "Secretly sexy" thing like "im not trying to be sexy on purpose but i am being sexy accidentally so no one can call me slutty because its just an innocent tongue stick picture" Yeah.. people really think this way lol... I've heard girls really say stuff like this b4 O. O
