I came to age in the 80's and every girl had a nice full, untrimmed bush. It was completely normal, expected and greatly anticipated among guys. There is nothing more beautiful, natural and exciting to see it's "mound" or it's glorious tufts around the edges of underwear or a swim suit, etc. It is remarkably soft, retains that beautiful scent and lots of natural moisture as well as really leaving something to the imagination. It wasn't until not that many years ago, in an isolated case, that I discovered a girl I was seeing was completely bald! Yuck! I was not only un-attracted by it, I found myself rather repulsed, even after trying to get accustomed to it. I have had multiple girlfriends who didn't shave anywhere on their bodies and they were so naturally beautiful and extremely sexy as well. I have no understanding for these young guys who insist that women appear as pre-pubescent, hairless aliens from head down. They must have some perverted predilection for 10 year old girls and/or their minds are so contaminated with images of the obscene, abnormal and Godless degenerates of modern P*rnography , that they never had the opportunity to properly learn and appreciate what a real women looks like in all her natural feminine glory - or to become normally attracted to that as men have since the first woman was ever created! It is a most disturbing fad, which, I, for one, will be most elated to watch get dumped off by the wayside.

It wasn't fashionable in the 80's yet to shave them. That's really the only reason.

As the quality of video became better and they could zoom in on women's genetalia during penetration shots and with a closer view, more could be made out, so the p*rn actresses started shaving to show more.

The trend caught on and now most women shave it.

It's also because of how bikinis and underwear have changed.

Just wasn't a thing back then. I just really wish people didn't have to make a correlation between shaving/waxing and prepubescent girls, it's got nothing to do with that, that's gross, and I resent the insinuation that I'm a pedophile.
