How to know if a girl doesn't like texting you?

Whenever I try to have a conversation with this girl she will stop replying to my texts midway through the conversation. She is really nice in person but when I talk to her over text it seems like she doesn't even want to talk to me. I really like talking to because she is a really outgoing person and I miss talking to her because for some reason we stopped talking for awhile. She does this almost everytime I talk to her she won't text me back when I ask her a question. She will text me back like 3 out of 10 times I text her. Yesterday I texted her asking if she watches basketball and she said "Nope". I dont know if she is bad at texting or if she just doesn't want to be bothered with me. I never texted her back after she said "Nope". I dont know if I should text her back a day after like she does or just text her back and be the nice guy and forget about it. Does this girl not like texting me??

Well, maybe she hates texting like me.
Usually when I text my crush, I text first, then she texts me back like hours later, then we text back and forth for a while but she usually takes her time in replying... but she always replies.
So usually I just end the convo so I don't seem desperate or something, I don't know.

just leave it for now, if she texts you back then you know she wants to talk to you, if not then find a different girl
