What age ranges do cougars go for the most?

A cougar is usually defined as an older woman in her late 30s or late 40s who is experienced, confident and independent but sexually desperate at the same time.

I was wondering whether cougars prefer younger men who are mentally very mature for their age but exaclty look their age physically and have usual interests for their age group.

Or do cougars rather want younger men who behave like they are still teenagers ( teens from 13 to 17) and give her the feeling of being youthful again?

Do cougars even date 18 or 19- year-olds , or would this be too young?

25. I started getting interested in cougars in my 20s and after a while I figured out the mean age they're interested is 25. I did tell the truth eventually and the reason they accepted my age afterwords was because I have my own apartment, Im financially stable, and I have a good career. Being mentally mature isn't enough for them. For example you could be 18 years old, mature well beyond your years but because you're still living at home with your parents etc, they'll end up rejecting you quickly. Trust me. Maturity won't matter unless you yourself have something You can provide them with.

30 years old will rarely go younger than 25, and 40 year olds will rarely go under 30, just from personal experience. Though I have had older than 30 when I was younger than 25 and over 40 younger than 25 as well, just much less common. Find a cougar bar, older women are the best.

I like younger men, and have both dated and had NSA attached with younger guys (to me a difference of 5+ years is necessary to be younger. Otherwise you're basically the same age after 25 or so.).

I agree that I don't think I'd go below 25, though it could be stretched to 30 when I'm older. I was with guys under 25 when I was younger than 30, though. In my opinion, guys hit their prime in their mid 20s.

We aren't desperate in that we'd sleep with anyone at all if we decide to be a cougar... we're putting a guy's attractive looks and sexual prowess ahead of other factors.

No. Not when you start acting your age. But don't make it about your age when you interact with her. If she asks for your age, just say you're mature enough to be with her, the number is just a number and you don't use it to determine your well-being :)
