I feel pity for animals more than I do with humans?

Im a very sensitive person, and when it comes to a bird with a broken leg or a cat having nothing to eat i feel very sad... Like if in a movie a guy with a horse went to war.. And they both died i would be like "oh no the horse!!" Like i feel bad that the horse died more than i feel bad for the human.. But dont get me wrong i feel so much pity for humans too.. But i dont know why i feel so much pity for animals and feel bad for them.

I feel more pity for animals because they are helpless and humans seem to think of them as just animals and not help them when they are on the street with a broken leg trying to get food from the street and getting run over by a car and left on the ground with no one noticing you.. Because they love their owners unconditionally with no bounds but some owners throw them out so the pet is just like confused like what have i done wrong.. Because animals can't speak.. can't say what is hurting them.. Because animals are only seen as animals who move around not creatures who have souls in them and they feel pain. But none seems to care. Thats why i feel pity for them because someone needs to.

Its just that animals can't express what they feel and can't speak... and they love unconditionally with no bounds or conditions and they are pure in the inside

No i will help them both if i can but first the guy of course no doubt. A man with a broken leg i will take him to the hospital he will get a cast and everything will be fine.. But the bird? It will live with a broken win unable to fly.. And could get in so many dangerous situations and will not be abke to get food for itself and be helpless..

Im not a hero who will ignore a dying human and save the dog next to him. I just feel like animals are clueless and dont know what they did wrong to desrve death or get run over by a careless human who says "its just an animal" like those creatures feel too.. They feel pain but they can't speak or express it.. You know whats wrong? Saying "they are just animals".

Oh okay, I thought you were one of those people that would rather save the animal. I'm not the person that thinks "it's just an animal," but I just don't feel the same way towards them that you do.

I mean, if I'm hungry then I'll gladly kill and animal, cook it, and eat it. It wouldn't bother me.

Oh my god! If you were in that situation then that must be having nothing to eat and being alone on an island so it would be much better to become friends with that animal rather than eating it and then getting hungry again after a couple of hours.
