Girls, Dad bod craze?

I know it can be difficult to date someone who is all about their physique. Gym 6 days a week, constantly worrying about calories, stuff like that, just making life harder than its supposed to be. But what about guys who just eat clean and exercise to just stay fit, not shredded but have an extra couple pounds of muscle?

my definition of a dad bod, guy comes home from work and drinks a beer with his fried chicken platter.

my definition of a dad with a healthy fit bod, where he probably goes to the gym twice a week for an hour or so and eats a relatively healthy meals.

I hated dating a gym freak, it completely affected every aspect of our relationship, I think a lot has to do with age/stage of life, when I was abit younger the good, fit body was a must; amazing to look at. Now at almost 25 and ready to settle the dad body is as attractive, whos to say at 30+ that will change again. Suppose it takes us back to being cavemen, when your looking to settle you want a big strong protective mature man. A dads body represents 'to me' a man whos time is spent working or with his family as opposed to a man who spends his time in the gym or weighing out food in the kitchen etc.

Really no Dad bod at all. I dont want someone old enough to be my daddy lol... But if I did, definitely the healthy fit bod

well of course not that old, but just the body shape, do you consider it more than the fit bod for a relationship

good to know :) lol, its just recently a lot of news articles have been saying girls prefer the dad bod for relationships. and I was like god dam, I lost my beer belly for nothing.

Hahaha I've been seeing that too... I mean I could settle for that around 40+ but 30 and under dude needs to be more fit

Lol I meant that if I marry a hottie but his body gets a bit flabby by time we're like 40, I'll still rock it haha

i'm 19 so no dad bods ever you can be skinny and have no muscle but you can't be skinny fat.
