Girls, What The Heck Does Cute Mean? I'm So Confused?

Girls are always commining up to me and saying "awww you're so cute" or when they see me "awww he's so cute". What exactly does that mean?
Sometimes just awww, the way you say it to a puppy or small animal.

Some say "Cute and Sexy" which is even more confusing?
And some of my friends pinch my cheeks and say they're so smooth and soft.

I'm 17 so I'm really confused. I'm also too shy to ask because they're mostly in numbers.

Cute is some girls 'sexy'. Some girl's like cute guys. but the cheek pinching sounds like the belittling kind. Its all relative to what the situation is, and what is coming out of your mouth. Hmm 'cute' translated into understandable language...

Most girls say it based of face alone. I know you understand that one. Guys say some girls are cute and some girls are hot, but it still means both are attractive. But sometimes it can do with actions and words.

Here's a small example, my boyfriend is cute, not hot. He doesn't act sexy, and honestly doesn't know how to be sexy at all. BUT, he tries, and it doesn't come out smooth at all, but you can tell that that's him really trying his hardest. And its so adorable, because its not fake. That in itself is sexy. I think guys feel the same way with girls.

Well, the pinching of the cheeks sound bad. like the bad kind of cute. It definitely depends on the context.

Honestly I don't understand why guys read too much into the 'cute' comment. Some guys just seem cute to me, but that doesn't mean I see them as a toddler or an animal. I consider the guy I'm dating to be cute but I'm still sexually attracted to him. It's no different for when guys call girls cute or adorable.

Depends on the it was towards. If you were fumbling your words, I would think puppy. If you gave her a box of chocolates while blushing, I would think attraction.

Pinching your cheeks would be a friendly indicator---that they think you're cute as a button... which doesn't translate to I want to fuck your brains out.

It's neither--it just is. If you wanted to date them, then that's bad. If you don't then it's nothing.

Sexy or hot is something I call someone who I am sexually attracted to a great deal.

Cute is for someone who looks okay or average to me or who I am not sexually attracted to very much.

Or I say cute when someone is attractive to me sexually but they give off a cute look.
