I'm not a very mean person at all (closet douchebag, lol).. Honestly, I'm an amicable person and unless I have an overwhelming distaste for someone (male or female), I'd be the last person to ever cause an issuse. But god do I love bitchy girls. Something about the "fuck you, I know I'm the baddest bitch here" attitude is like fucking cocain to me. To expalin, I was talking to my friend's girlfriend at a house party and her friends finally join her (quite intxociated at the time honestly didn't know where they came from lol). And the first thing this 10/10 blondie (like seriosuly 10/10, she knew, her friends definitely knew and any one that didn't know was on the mailing list) chick says is "what are all these fugly sluts doing here [cant remember the rest of her monologue]" Needless to say, every other girl was out of contention after she dropped that line. fuck!

I don't really associate with those types of girls, but my perception of them... I think that often their nastiness is a reflection of their own deep-seated insecurities. It's surprising how insecure and unhappy with themselves even the most beautiful girls can be, but there it is.

Either that, or despite how outwardly lovely they may be, they have genuinely ugly personalities. It's a shame when something so pretty is rotten inside. It's like biting into a shiny apple and discovering worms inside. Ick.

I can't be sure, though - objectively looking at it - among the upper echelon of attractive female friends I have, they are indeed very hypercritical of themselves and each other. Though it's not like I am doing a case study or anything, but I have noticed when it comes time to "get ready."

As for the "rotten inside," aren't we all cynical at times?

I think it's because if you hang out with many beautiful people, you start competing on a different level. A model-looking girl isn't going to compare herself to an average girl, she'll compare herself to other model-looking girls, and that involves making a big deal of minute details that most people don't think twice about.

Hmm I don't view being cynical as equivalent to being rotten. Cynicism recognizes what's rotten and bad in the world, and expresses distrust and pessimism because of it. It examines the example of a pretty girl spewing unprovoked vitriol and shakes its head in disgust, while not being all that surprised by it. It [cynicism] is not necessarily bad and hurtful in itself, though.
