Why would a girl ask a guy to send a selfie?

have a crush on this girl and have been chatting with her regularly. I've made my feelings clear on a couple of occasions be it sincerely or casually. Off late we've been sharing selfies. She asks me for my pics n even insists on it with words such as 'I dont want u to pose.. just a usual one'... or 'No! I want ur selfie right now'... even when I tell her I can't click a selfie right now. What is that supposed to mean? Why n when would a girl do that?

she wants to show her friends what you look like. the worst thing you could do is call her out on it so don't say anything just take a great selfie so she can show you off

But we aren't a couple yet. Why would she want to show me to anybody else then. Is it just for her to see how I look throughout the day or random moments

maybe but i dont think so. even if you aren't a couple yet her friends im 100% sure are dying to know whats going on with you 2 and im sure she's gushing to them about how amazing you are. Its a girl thing, trust me she wants to show her friends how cute you are or what you look like. I can't really explain it much more but every single girl I know does this. ANd if she's not asking for a selfie then she's searching you instagram, facebook, twitter, anything to show her friends.
