Just another reason not to get married
well not everyy woman does. like when i get married, im still going to stay in shape simply because i like living a healthy life. but my mom definitely gained some weight after marriage (i saw some before pictures, i was surprised. my mom isn't fatt but she was a lott slimmer before) but its because she had a high metabolism and never gained weight so she never even bothered to work out and was just always kind of lazy, but then after giving birth and getting older and her metabolism slowing down, things changed because she doesn't know how to live a healthy life since she never really did and she's just too lazy to go to the gym, and the same for my dad. its not just women who gain weight after marriage.

i personally would try to maintain my health as well as i can all my life, but if i gain a few lbs on a vacation or something I'm totally NOT sorry.

Even without marriage or kids, supposedly girls gain weight when they are in a relationship and lose when they are single. there's not as much motivation to be sexy since they already have the guy.
They are on the market any more to land the big fish... so they can relax/let themselves go... enjoy being supported for the rest of her life.

Because a lot of girls go around with the mentality that if he loves me he should love me no matter what I look like or my weight. So they let themselves go thinking their spouses love is intact even though their spouses attraction may not be.

Some of the women (and even men) that gain weight after marriage are in that "comfort zone". Some think they have a partner so they don't need to put in effort in their appearance. For a woman, she can gain some weight due to pregnancy. Both can gain weight due to medical problems and medication... as you get older those things happen.

Babies and then living with small children, usually. Most of the women I work with in their late 39s & 40s seem to lose weight. They say it's because they have free time to work out again cuz the kids can do things on their own and meal time isn't a battle like it can be with little kids.

If my girl just decided to stop caring about being healthy just because she knew I loved her I'd get kinda mad after a while because I wouldn't do that, so if she does just because she is being lazy then we got problems

A lot of people guys and girls stop trying to be healthy after they get in a deeply committed relationship because they feel they won't lose them by looking like shit after that point. It's really wrong and deceptive but it is what it is.

Not just girls, guys too. Either way I'm making my future wife sign a contract that says she will remain fit for the rest if or marriage. Still debating if 3 months is enough to get back in shake after giving birth.
Not only after marriage, also after they get kids or some women just with aging around their 30's. I've seen it a lot :/
