I find the first guy more attractive than the second. And I would argue that second definitely did some work for that, but anyways. I don't particularly like it when a guy seems muscle bound, like he is so muscular that it impedes his movement and flexibility. And certain muscles on the body look strange being very large, plus if a guy is built and has bad posture that shows more. Sometimes when a pic is of a guy with the muscles flexed it makes them look strange. Like even in the top pic he's carrying those dumbells so his triceps are flexed but it would be very strange if his arms stuck out like that normally. Plus once you get beyond a person's natural build through the use of steriods etc. they start to look really freakish. But all women have different preferences.
Because some girls just want a guy who has a little bit of muscle. Guys with too much muscle are too hard you feel like your hugging rock (not comfortable or romantic) , most girls, including me want a guy like the second one because he's sort of softer, and if you find out he's abusive and he tries to beat on you, at least you have a fighting chance with the second guy... the first guy could break your neck in two seconds. 😨
Its just like some guys don't want a girl who has like DDD boobs.. doesn't mean the girl isn't pretty, but it's just to much for them so she's not his type.
Well, us girls like guys with muscle, just don't overdue it. If its like a valley on your arm, then you definitely over did it. If its like small hills, then that's great. With small hills, it shows that you tried to attract girls towards your direction. With valleys, it shows that you worked WAY to hard to impress a girl. Girls don't only like muscle, but remember, its more about the personality, and how you act towards her. Looks count too, but not as much as personality or your act.
But that is just my preference. I have dated guys of many different body types. From skinny to big. I've never dated a muscular guy, but if I met a guy like that and I liked him, I would most likely give him a chance.
If I were the 2nd guy, I'd feel like I'd be b*llshitting myself by thinking "I am strong" which is absolutely not the case compared to the 1st guy.
It seems like many girls confuse "going to the gym" as something you can do casually without paying attention to what you eat and without the slightest bit of dedication...
The reason I work out is to experience what going to the limit feels on my own body and this also strengthens my mind which I need to study...

Girls obviously don't think that far and will think you are either arrogant or dumb if you look like the 1st guy...
This is gonna be harsh, but the truth is many gag girls are homely, introverted, and unattractive so they aren't inclined to like guys that are on the higher tier you know? ofc not huge, but most hot girls like aesthetic guys with shoulders n abs, i mean it's obvious in the real world. But there's a disconnect on gag, and I think that's what it is.
I'm quite attractive and also dated a bodybuilder. He spent most of his free time at the gym. Girls love athletic and strong guys but don't like gym rats.
@Love-travel Ya there's definitely balance and moderation. I spend 10-13 hours a week at the gym, definitely more than most but hardly classifies as "live at the gym" like many would assume.
I definitely only date girls that are likewise interested in fitness, so we can go to the gym together and it's not an issue.

Asker - It's normal. My brother has the same thing because we can pack on muscle very easily. Something about the muscles growing too fast. Don't worry about it!
When I look at the first guy the first thing that comes to mind is that he must be spending extremely much time in the gym and care way too much about how he looks.
I feel like most girls like more natural looking bodies on guys. They can obviously be muscular and buff, but not to the point where it's the first thing you notice, if that makes sense. It obviously depends a lot on the girl tho
The first guy would be way too built for my taste because I'm aware of how much time and hard work it takes to maintain and get a body like that. A guy who puts that much value in having that much bulk would be a turn off to me.
Looking like a distant relation of the hulk isn't too attractive, in my opinion, either. A guy falling somewhere between the two guys above would be much better.
Just because you put work into something doesn't mean everybody is forced to like it? What kind of stupid attitude is that? A lot of guys who work out that much are obsessed with it and can't stop, it's not about hard work to look good anymore it's a addicition. And the second guy is not weak he's just not building up muscle like crazy he looks pretty fit to me.
too much muscle looks intimidating & usually the guys I've met that big are a bit on the arrogant side. i can respect the hard work and dedication but i simply dont care for it, expect it, or drool after it. 2nd guy looks better, shirts would prolly fit nicely on him

I like lean and muscular. Too much muscle makes him look big and imtimiadating.
As for women getting confused about who is stronger; we know that the more muscular guy is obviously more stronger, and that he put in a lot more work to get that way. It's just that most of us prefer the leaner looking guy more because he is more appealing and not imtimiadating.
I prefer somewhere in between the two, the first one puts me off even though it's attractive I don't really go for that. The second one is just too weak and small, I need a guy that looks like he can carry me at least lol
The first guy looks unbalanced. You need to temper strength with softness, otherwise, you become a retard. A tree is strong, but also yielding. As soon as it becomes brittle, it snaps and dies.
A lot of girls do like muscles. To be fair, I think the second guy has too many muscles too. It's not necessarily the size of the guy, some guys are fine being big without being muscular. I just don't like the way muscles look, it looks too weird.
Of these 2, I'd prefer guy number one. But having a ton of muscles doesn't really do much for me. I like strong arms but that's about it. But there are some girls that dig muscles. Not everyone is the same.
Guy #1 looks good to me, so it's definitely not all women that dislike that look. He's worked hard to look that way, and that's something to be proud of.
Because the first picture clearly indicates obsessive behaviour. There is a difference between being fit and being obsessive about fitness. Obsessiveness is clearly unattractive.
Guy #1 is hot. If most girls dont like muscle, then fine. More muscular men for me! hahaha

lmao yessss if only all girls were like you.. im not that big cuz i haven't worked out for as long as him but i always get girls saying im too big its annoying, like i enjoy getting big and that determines who likes me...
A lot of girls like a lot of muscle. I know I do. It's sexy and makes me feel very protected when a guy is very muscular. BUT personality is important. Act like a jerk and girls just look elsewhere.

No YOU seem confused, some guys are just scarily too muscly and it's gross. I'd say Floyd Mayweather or Cristiano Ronaldo would be the ideal. Being ginormous isn't "hard work" it's steroids and to make up for bruised egos
