If a girl doesn't mention her boyfriend?

Like I ended up chatting to this girl at work because I was bored and I'm not gonna lie I do find her attractive and we seem to have some things in common which is good. The thing is she has a boyfriend which she never mentioned. Usually girls bring that up at some point in a conversation as a way of either saying "back off" or "nothing's ever going to happen but you're cool so lets keep talking" or something along those lines. She never mentioned him once despite several points where she could have (I asked what she's doing on her day off and she just said "We are going into town") but I do know she's taken as the guy works at the same place and I've seen them together before.

So While I'm not looking to make any moves I am curious if it has any significance if a girl doesn't mention her boyfriend?

The "WE are going town" sort of means she mentioned him. It most likely means she doesn't think of you as someone hitting on her or that she just doesn't think about him that much. There's a small possibility she wants yo hide it from you but that's very unlikely if she says "we" and her boyfriend works at the same place.

personally I would think "We" could mean anything. her friends, her parents, multiple personalities etc

Not everyone obsessively mentions their SO at every chance they get. You work together, and for a lot of people that's reason enough to not flirt or date. Plus she probably just sees you as a co-worker/friend so she doesn't see the point in telling you to "back off", especially if you haven't hit on her.

I would assume from how she said 'we are going into town' that she hasn't mentioned it because she already knows you know about him.
