Calling a guy handsome?

No one ever says handsome anymore...is this because guys don't like it? Or would you want your girlfriend to call you this?

Handsome is one of the words that should be saved for dress occasions. When you are laying there with your man fooling around or pillow talk or during sex handsome seems out of place. During times when he dresses up a bit more or when talking about a guy to other people it is acceptable I think.

Handsome is usually a descriptive word our moms call us, so we don't want to associate your feelings for us with how our mothers feel.

Handsome is a cool word to use, but it's just a little old-fashioned by now. So girls usually resort to other words like "cute" or "hot" or "sexy", depending on context. I'd still take "handsome" as a compliment, but other guys might be more comfortable being described by more "common" words.

I wouldn't want that at all. Same as being called attractive, I don't know what if it's just me, but I hate being called attractive. I'd much prefer hot, or sexy.
