Should I call him handsome?

We’ve been texting back-and-forth and he always calls me “beautiful”. Like “hey beautiful, how are you today?”. I think that he’s really handsome, and I was wondering if I should do the same? Like “thanks handsome” or stuff like that. We’ve never been on a date yet, if that matters.

“thanks handsome” is fine. Any compliment is good, however handsome is what we get a lot from our moms or grandmothers, LOL. But it's nice to hear just the same, but "sexy" or something like that would be better to hear from someone that likes us (romantically), but, you may not be comfortable with that just yet either? In which case, that's fine. Like I say, any compliment is good and we rarely get them so it's nice to hear!

Asker: The compliment a guy prefers is very individual for the guy. But usually, saying something like they are good looking, or if you say they have nice eyes, or a good body, or strong body, tends to be well accepted. Or if you say the are intelligent or know how to manage themselves well.
