Why are there women that have a crush on Negan from the Walking Dead?

I've noticed this on Walking Dead Facebook groups, and it's really, really fucking weird. What, is the fact that he's an evil barbarian warlord and God-King not enough to dissuade them? It's the same as the bizarre crush a lot of female GOT fans have on Khal Drogo.

Are women actually attracted to powerful, violent men? This would make a lot of sense from a historical perspective.

Well, I mean he's clearly a bad boy.

It's a sort of tunnel vision. He has traits that are clearly attractive to most women so they ignore the negative ones. Everyone knows a girl or ten that constantly enter into relationships that turn abusive and all you can do is facepalm because they continually go for the same type of guy with the same level of failure.

It's not just Negan. Many women develop crushes on a lot of bad guys. It's weird to us because in general, there is no real equivalent for men.

I have to say being one of those “Neegan” women, it has nothing at all to do with his barbaric ways, it is most definitely his Charisma, the way he walks and speaks with a southern drawl, he just oozes sexiness for a older man, he is a very complex character and a bloody brilliant actor to boot, he is the most disliked but the most liked actor in the show that is some accomplishment!!!
