It's not gross, but the effort you go through to look good for us makes us feel appreciated, I don't freak out if my girl misses a day, she's human. but if it's constant it kinda shows a lack of effort to try and impress. Just like if you preferred your men clean shaven

It's not "gross" but it can be undesirable for some people where others won't care so much. Although, prickly hair would come from hair growing back after being shaved, I'd think?

Yeah, prickly is not so good. Either keep them smooth or go European and stop shaving entirely. There are plenty of guys who will be fine with that.
