Guys: Do you prefer blondes or brunettes and why?

I stick to brunettes. I'm a redhead myself, which rules them out. Put two redheads together and you might as well play with matches while swimming in a pool of gasoline. As for blondes, I've just never been interested in them. I've never dated one and probably never would. They live up to their ditzy reputation far too often in my opinion and I need a girl capable of coherant thought.

Then there is the genetic aspect of it. Hair and eye colors other than brown are genetic mutations dating back roughly 10,000 years to the end of the last ice age. Before then all humanity had dark hair and eyes. I have neither myself, I'm a redhead with gray/hazel eyes. I've also got cancer, another form of mutation. So for me, I think much of my love for brunettes is simply instinct to stabilize my genes for future generations.

First off,I think you're beautiful and your hair color doesn't look fake to me.I know quite a few Europeans who have Platinum blonde hair and it's natural,the ones I know were from Holland,Sweden and another country,Denmark?haha

Anyways,I'm bi,I think it depends.Both can be beautiful.

Brunette to me looks good when the woman is naturally,tanned or olive skin tone and it looks ot.

Blonde,I think European chicks are sexy as hell.Swedish,Swizz,Danish etc,basically the Scandinavian and Nordic girls are hot.Blonde hair,blue eyes/green eyes,gorgeous.

I personally prefer it to be natural though,natural blonde and natural brunette

People also tend to get brunettes confused with the jet black haired girls. I'm not one for this as I am a natural brunette, medium to dark brown, but for some reason when people think of brunettes nowadays they think of the really dark haired raven ones..same for the blondes...I don't really like the bleached out looking ones..you know their faking it..its just unattractive.

I don't think your hair looks fake because of your tan like someone below said... but I do think because you tan so much that you look much older than you are. I thought you were like 32 or 34 when I saw the larger view of your pic and then saw you were only 20. Might wanna cut back on the uv rays. It also causes skin cancer  :(   You're still very pretty though  :)

I don't really prefer one over the other.  I think most girls go through phases where they dye their head either darker or lighter.  I've been in a.relationship.for six years and I never knew the girl's real hair color.  I would have enjoyed seeing her comfortable enough to sport it.  It would have been a sign of confidence and content, which is very important.  A woman who bleaches her hair, puts on a ton of makeup, and gets fake books is only trying to mask her insecurities.  In reality she is accomplishing the exact opposite.

blondes catch my eye way faster than brunettes...ive had 2 serious relationships and a few here and there...my first serious she had black hair, my second serious and most recent had blonde...ive been friends with benefits with brunetts and blondes...basically it comes down to this...a blonde is going to catch my eye first, but not all the time...its not really the hair color I worry about, its who she is after introducing myself, her attitude, how open she is...deep down id have to say I'm a sucker for dirty blondes, because its a mix of both...but I don't think I could say I like blondes or brunettes better, some colors just look better on certain ppl

i really don't have a preference as long as it looks natural.  like that shade of blonde that your hair color is in that pic isn't something that really occurs in nature so it doesn't look good, but if it was a more natural shade (one that didn't clash with your tan complexion as much) it would look good.

Beauty is beauty. Everyone has different tastes and while I cannot say I prefer one over another, my track record has long been petite, medium length and brunette haired women. I have been with a few blondes here and there but in terms of my long terms, they always had brunette hair and medium length (at the shortest) as I cannot stand short hair (as in pixie or very short) on women. I personally prefer something to grab when having sex or getting head and if we're just laying around I like stroking hair anyhow.

I don't have a preference to hair color, per se, i can be attracted to a girl w/ blue hair. but I am drawn more to blond hair (is that defined as a preference?). However, recently, I've began to like girls w/ red hair. But I think it's just a coincidence for these girls specifically, not the fact they have red hair...

As for short v long? I can say i DO prefer longer hair. As long as it's good quality (soft, silky, etc). It's sexier, more feminine, and I like running my fingers through it. But, if a girl has short hair, she can still be attractive to me.

Hair won't make or break my attraction to a girl. But it is one of those small things that I appreciate.

It depends with me, but usually brunette, but I do like blonde hair when its more dirty and brown and looks more natural. I hate girls who dye their hair blonde though, I can usually tell and it  looks fake. Where as girls who are naturally blonde (like you seem to be ) look better.

I have a preference for (natural) redheads, but I don't really have a preference between blondes and brunettes - I like them both, but not one better than the other.

But I definitely think all girls look better with longer hair. IMO, shoulder-length is minimum, and butt-crack length is about max - anything in between is great.

it really just depends on personality dated majority of blondes in my life.  or girls with dyed multicolored hair. LOL crazy ones right.  But,  brunettes have my attraction the most now have more of a centered confidence.  Blondes have relaxed cofidence.  I guess it as something to do with the parents of the girl if dad hair and mommies hair match or middle child complex something.

What is your natural hair color because it looks like from your roots that your hair is more of a dirty blond than the blond it shows out to be. For me personally as long as the girl has natural hair and a nice face she's gonna be attractive to me. However, with this being said, SOME girls can pull off the multi color hair dye. But I would prefer a girl to have their hair a natural color and not dyed

all three can be really attractive, but for me anywhere from darker dirty blonde to about dark brown can be attractive. It mostly depends on the girl though. Both the girls I asked out though had kind of auburn-brownish red hair color so I guess that's what I prefer

If I find them attractive, it doesn't matter. Then again, the only type of girl I don't like is the girl who dyes her hair that bleach blond color or fake blond. It's just showing that the girl is trying to hard to be accepted by others.

If you're unique and attractive, then it doesn't matter what your hair color.

I like both but blondes drive me more crazy. I'm obsessed with blondes. The ideal blonde to me is a woman like how Britney Spears used to look like. Blondes are better because they seem to be nicer and hotter. When it comes to other women I prefer a woman that has long black hair with green or brown eyes and a tan and that's about 5'7 110-130lbs.

Most guys like long hair. I recommend girls to find out which color looks better on you and make it that. Different colors and styles look different on every girl.

I like brunettes. Now how to I say this without coming across as a blond hater, which I am not. I grew up in California and I just got so used to seeing the CA blondes that all seem to look the same way.  I like people that look unique so I tend to prefer the exotic brunette types.

When I was young, I was a sheep and liked blondes.  I liked their outgoing personalities which makes it easier to have fun with them.  Now..  hmmm.  Don't really have a preference.  All are good and bad in their own ways.

Eyes.  It actually all comes down to eye color.  The prettiest girls and the ones I am most attracted to are ones whose hair complements their eyes.  The combination of the two is important.

Just like I said before, all matters to me is the pink parts, many blondes (except orange tanned) and all red heads have pink parts, not all brunettes have pink parts, but ones that do are extremely hot.
