I'm talking with a new girl that I'm getting to know in person and she keeps using the smile emoji almost every other text. I sent a few back but why did she use so many? :)

well not a lot of emojis coz then that's weird lol. when I message a guy I like, I use emojis since he can't see me lol. link I would use a smiley face when I say hi to show him I'm happy texting him

When I talk with my crush, I am happy because I feel like we're getting closer in a way. I use emojis to show him I'm happy to be chatting with him and I would like it if he texted all the time. unfortunately my crush won't text me anymore since I kept texting him 😣😣

Well I beleive one would use happy faces when they're happy or want the other person to know they're happy talking to them.
and yes I did chase him off. I'm so inexperienced and down know whay to do with a guy. he wouldn't text me so I did 3 in the past 2 days.

In a very shy girl and I do send happy face emojis a lot when flirting because I feel like I do poorly at asserting or expressing myself so it is a way to add in that you're genuinely interested.
