that's is because men are supposed to be stronger but balls are "weak" and sensitive -if you've ever been hit you know it's true- and I guess it's understandable that you feel kind of insulted since men were taught that being compared to a woman is an insult (hit like a girl, being called nancy, etc)
I know I would feel insulted if someone told me to grow some balls or to man up and shit like that because I am strong and proud of being a woman and that would be like telling me that being a man is better

To be honest, the phrase sounds like a reality and comedy. It is true but it does not sound serious. Usually, I heard on TV or in public, people saying, "GROW SOME BALLS!!" So, growing balls will make you tough (enough)? To be honest, the phrase for me now sounds weird.

I mean it's fine to be upset but.. a guys balls are really weak. It's every guys weak spot so it's nothing to feel bad about. If someone kicked you there wouldn't it be unbearably painful? That's how guys act and talk like. When girls talk about period pain guys bring up getting their balls hit because it's so painful for them. So they are truly weak. Doesn't mean the guys weak. It's not really something you can get insulted by since it's true of the overwhelming majority of men.

Yeah, that's exactly it though. If someone kicked me there, I'd honestly probably cry because it's so painful. I guess it doesn't really bother me that I have that weak spot, but it's the fact that girls can use it against us if that makes sense? Like, guys are traditionally seen as the strong ones. Guys aren't really the "strong ones". They may be stronger more often but now days it's pretty equal when it comes to strength. Fewer guys try to get fit and more girls do so it evens out more now. Anyway it's definitely not the weakest spot on the body. Everyone has the same weak spots. For example, if you kick someone hard enough in a specific spot on their leg they will lose feeling for a shot amount of time and then be in insane pain. Everyone's weakest spot is probably their throat since it can easily kill you to get injured there. You should view people as more equal. It'll make you happier in life.

I see. I do try to think of genders as more equal even though that's not how I was brought up, but I think it's a lot better that way. Though, I don't think there's very many spots that come close to balls... just because you can hit us and we immediately fall down and curl up. Even cry or throw up from just one hit. I never liked that. I really never liked that.

The only reason I say there are many more weak spots is because there are places that if you hit hard enough will kill you (nose, throat, ribs). Death is much worse than pain and therefore it's a greater weak spot. But yeah no one likes getting hurt bad like that so I see where you're coming from.

Oh yeah. I guess there's a difference between a weak spot and a sensitive area. Like, nose, throat , and ribs are weak spots since they can kill you, but you have to hit them hard to do that. While, with balls, you can hit them gently and it'll wrack us with pain, so it's may not be the weakest spot but it's the most sensitive spot.

Yes l balls are weak and sensitive. So it actually shows that if you do something heroic or brave , you're actually proving that you have a higher tolerance for pain which make you a "strong" person. Hence "grow some balls" ie suck up the pain and go fort.
