Is the popped collar really considered sexy?

I was at work today and forgot to button the 2nd to the top of the collar. And my co worker asked if I was tying to be "sexy" I had no clue what she was talking about and asked her what she was talking about and she said that I had a popped collar and that guys apparently do that to be "sexy". That never occurred to me though... but is it really true or was she lying? (Picture of the shirt I wore today and how I wore it)

the chest area is what she was likely referring too. usually actors and men will not button their shirt all the way when they are being business casual and it's usually kind of sexy. especially if there is some chest hair, and they have the whole, I just finished working, and I'm looking for someone to just relax with on the patio with a cool drink.
