as a girl, I'll explain how most guys have reacted to it. they haven't really cared.

my father raised with with the motto "better to burp and taste it then to fart and waste it" so I don't care about it either.

just don't do it anywhere fancy, that's the one time I say don't do it 😂

I don’t personally care, whichever end it goes. Drama aside, that’s one thing I appreciated about my ex. We were comfortable around one another. Now if you’re doing that in a formal setting out in public, that’s a different story. Manners obviously apply for the both of us.

Burping is natural, but it's something you gotta try to do as discreetly as possible. Burping loudly is rude.  This goes for men too. Manners are very attractive.

The same way I feel if a guy burps. If it's loud but it's rare/infrequent, I couldn't care less. If it's loud but he/she does it very often, it may somewhat bother me.
