What does it mean when a guy gives you a serious stare all the time?

not an angry stare but like a serious look on his face whenever he see's me.

Whenever my best guy friend is near me this guy seems to give me and him an Angry look.

Whenever I'm alone he gives me a serious look(more like a stare like he's trying to figure something out) like almost all the time

whenever I walk past him he looks, whenever were in the same room he does the same.

He never talks to me though.

i look at my ex the same way, I'm either upset with her or..trying to show her when I'm being serious, after all, life isn't all smiles and games
