Giving up and calling yourself a failure will lead you no-where. Vanderbilt didn't grow from a child labourer to the 3rd richest person in our history by giving up, and neither should you.

If you really want something you've to be willing to walk away, if that means giving up this girl, and pursuing another to homecoming, then so be it. If you simply wallow in your failure, you'll get no-where.
