OK check this out. Your answer is simple, yes! In this we call life you will find people with likes you can't imagine, and hight is a common topic.
But I will go beyond your question, you want dates right? Then height is just a factor in that game. It takes a load of good factors to make you a good candidate. So it doesn't matter if you you lack something like height if you are the most confident and charismatic out there, you will find someone just focus on even things out.
And by this I mean for you to analyze yourself and see your weak factors and how you can even them out with good factors. If you are lacking, good factors then you got homework to do, if it is learning how to dress, improving your hygiene, have a attractive body, learn how to communicate your ideas better, becoming more outgoing, ext.

What do you think? Obviously most women prefer taller guys. That's why guys become insecure about their height. In reality all women really want is a man who's at least taller than she is, possibly tall enough that she can wear heels and he'll still be taller than her.

However just forget about it. You can't change your height so stop worrying and just be confident.

It depends on the woman. I myself am kind of tall for girls in the area that I live in and ended up dating a shorter guy. But I dated him because of his personality. I literally couldn't care less about height. Most women prefer a taller man, but if she's not shallow she'll love you for who are, not your height. And there are tons of really short women out there too so you're still taller than a lot of potential partners. Don't worry, your height won't keep you from an amazing relationship if you have a good heart. It can be hard to find someone, but that just means that it'll be more special when you find a partner.

As far as your body goes that's completely within your control. If you want to become more muscular, begin a challenging workout regimen, without overdoing it or pushing your limits too far. If you just want to become thinner, watch what you eat more. (Calories aren't as important as the fat content and nutrients and so on). If you want to change your body, do it. Yes for several reasons:

Taller men are stronger, in fact they earn more money than short men and are more capable of protecting women. They also have more confidence because short people develop complexes and women generally like outgoing men. It's really a combination of factors that sometimes even generate other factors that can affect even your own personality. by the way I'm 1.69 mts so I know what I'm talking about.

There's also the women who are looking to settle and want their children to be taller than them, and there's also the women who age submissive during sex and want a big man.
