It's... complicated. France wants to help them, but French people does'nt and here's why :

We got a lot of people living in the streets, many people can't afford paying for food and we all look for jobs. A lot of people are unemployed.

So when our government tells us "hey, those people need help, bring them in and give them jobs", i think you can understand what's the problem.

So yeah, we do have a lot of refugees, they try to go to great britain from Calais and the rest majority is everywhere.

We are not "racist" about them, it's the opposite, but we would prefer to focus on our own problems before accepting problems from others.
