Most girls that find dreadlocks attractive are Black , if they are your target demographic, you won't have any problems.. but I think if you are going for White or Asian women, most of them won't like it.

Yes as long as he maintains them and they're neat. Most people I've seen with locks kinda leave them to their fate and it becomes something that repulses instead of intriguing.
