Do girls see colors than guys?

Women perceive colors more than men. We all see the same colors essentially (unless someone is colorblind).

It has to do with experiences: Women are raised to b be aware of color because that is the cultural norm. As a guy, you don't have to worry about it as much, unless you're an artist or something.

Here is a list of words that men are more likely to recognize than women:
1. codec

I was able to recognize all 12 immediately.

Now, compare that to the list of words that women are more likely to recognize:
1. taffeta
2. tresses
3. bottlebrush
4. flouncy
5. mascarpone
6. decoupage
7. progesterone
8. wisteria
9. taupe
10. flouncing
11. peony
12. bodice

The ONLY word I could recognize was #7 Progesterone, and only because I learned about it in college in General Biology, then in Physiology during dental school. Otherwise, I don't know a single one of those. I'm completely oblivious to the remaining 11 entries. LOL

actually yes. girl's eyes have a higher proportion of cones, which means they are more sensitive to color. guy's eyes have a higher proportion of rods, which means they are more sensitive to light.

All the colors actually are wrong on the woman side most of the names listed are flowers fruits and plants. Lol there are actually proper names for the colors. For instance, Flora (yellowish, brownish green) is actually called "chartreuse" or "Marachino" ( brilliant red) is called "vermillion" but, I guess it's easier for people or more creative to say the names of fruits or other items of similar hue, instead of using the proper names of colors like puce, cerulean, or gray.

I’m going to go with yes because girls are so special about a shade of color, whereas a guy is going to to say the color at face value. He’ll say purple and she will say no!! It’s lilac lol.
