I am considered ro bw a really pretty girl but I dont know how to talk to people what do I do?

Im pretty and I think people dont talk to me because I look mean or intimidating. I also dont know how to talk to people or start conversations. I will go all day without talking to someone if nobody starts a conversation with me first. I even sometimes dont talk to my own friends for a few days just because I dont want to bother them. How do I get more comfortable talking to people in general. And flirting is an entirely different ball game. I have no idea how to flirt whatsoever. I usually just stand there and look cute and hope the guy I like comes up to me. I have no idea what to say to a guy if I like him. My biggest concern is that I might just be bothering people by talking to them. I even used to ask my own boyfriend if it was bothering him when I talked to him. Ever since we broke up I have no clue how to get talk to people. My ex was the easiest guy to talk to because somehow, even though Im shy as all get out, he might never know just how shy I really am because we clicked so fast that dating was easy because he was easy to talk to. As for other guys... I have no idea how to talk to them at all.

I'm a lot like you. I'll go an entire day without talking to people just so I don't bother them or just because I just have NO idea what to say! I tend to rely on others to start a conversation with me. I know HOW to start a conversation, "Hey, that's a really nice shirt, where did you get it?" "Cool! You like The Beatles, too! I'm a HUGE fan!", but, I tend to let others start the conversations as I kinda act like a silent comedian waiting for a situation to arise for me to react or respond to.
Besides, most often when I DO try to start a conversation it only lasts a couple of sentences, so, why bother.
When I was in college, I was just sitting on a bench outside the gym just killing time between classes when the gorgeous sexy blonde comes up to me, sits beside me and says, "Hi! I saw you in the cafeteria and thought you were a really neat guy and I've been wanting to meet you! My name's Jennifer. What's yours?" And we sat there and talked for about 5:00 before SHE had to get up and run off to a class but, almost immediately after that, we became the best of friends!! She was 16, about to turn 17 in a couple weeks and I'd just turned 27 a month before.
So, maybe you can try that.

I know you're talking about yourself because you're asking a question that has to do with yourself, but overall, you don't go through conversations focusing on yourself and you don't compliment yourself in front of others... right?
