I'll try to be quick. Some of the women at my workplace will look at me when we're passing in the hallway, then will quickly look away when I make eye contact with them to say hello (in a friendly, nonsexual way). There are two women in my department that will talk to everyone else, but will only say a quick hello to me and will do everything humanly possible to avoid eye contact and get away from me, yet when we're out of the office and passing each other inn the hallway they'll give me direct eye contact, a big smile and say hello. I brought this up with one of my female colleagues and she told me that some of the women at work talk about me and think I'm handsome. If this is the case, why the avoidance? I always thought that if a woman thought that you're attractive, she'll do/say things to let you know how she feels. Can anyone explain this to me? I'm pretty clueless when it comes to this stuff--poor self esteem and such...
