Why are women so bitchy to other women?

I noticed that a lot of women tend to be ruder to each other than men. For example, when I was at work one of my female colleagues said about one of our other colleagues that the reason she is single is because she has terrible hair.

Similarly, I was at the gym today and this random woman in her 40s walked past, smirked at me and said, ‘At least I can be happy with my body when I see yours.’

What’s up with women being rude to each other? I don’t really see men acting this way to each other.

Women are driven by hypergamy which means they strive to mate upwards in socioeconomic status.

Because distribution of socioeconomic status is like a pyramid (the pool of men gets smaller and smaller as you move up) a large pool of women compete for a shirinking pool of high socioeconomic status men.

Since women are not physically competitive, they try to win through mental games with their competition. This is why women are so brutally mean to reach other.

In the past I made friends with most female harassers.

They see you as a threat. You have something in your personal character or looks that threatens them.

Not all women are this way, some wish to lift you up.

When I used to go home to the small city I went to high school in, in just had to remember this.

That is rude. In my college years in my first year this girl dediced to called me bitch. she was very jelous girls since she was trying to get me react. After that I block her. My last friends did make lot of drama and my last ex in college did cheated. There only one group of girls that don't like me but idc anymore. Go suck somewhere else.

I don't know the answer to this, but I think it stems from insecurity. We are told all the damn time that if we aren't pretty enough we won't be loved and things like that. And if they feel like their looks make them unlovable, they will try to up their chances of being loved by bringing "the competition" down.
