As a female friend told me when we where out of high school and working our first real jobs, it is better to be an old mans lover than a young mans slave.
Basically she told me that, older men are for the most part settled and ready for a committed relationship. While the men our age, where still looking to sow their oats and I will admit she was right.
I know for myself that between 18 and 25, I was not ready for a serious relationship. somewhere between 25 and 27, I started to look for a potential long term partner and not someone just for sex and also by this time I was more stable at my job and was in a somewhat position to start considering marriage and having children.
Lol, lots of women won't admit this.. its because young guys typically are not able to financially take care of them. I know when I was your age I had trouble finding dates.. the moment I hit my 30's and started making 300k annually i had more attention from women than i wanted.. thankfully I didn't marry any of them.. I married a small town conservative girl not someone who is after my wallet..
Because women mature slightly faster than men as were seeking someone to look after us! Hence standard old fashioned relationships are men older than women. Men are more drawn to the younger female as they’re on the same wavelength And potentially more fertile which is a way of life deep within our DNA
My spouse is 6 years older than I am, and I can say it is because older men have had more experiences and generally more mature in handling things. Also women tend to mature much quicker than men, so older men are usually on the same page as us lol

Sometimes people click, regardless of age, sometimes they don't. But once you are like 25, age doesn't impact maturity as much as before, so 5-10 years is not a big deal.

I have no idea. My girlfriend is 25 years younger than me. My ex was 19 years younger. The one before her was 10 years younger. I am not complaining but what makes a woman go after a much older man is still a mystery to me unless he is extremely rich.
I would say maturity but that’s pretty dumb. Peoples says that Older guys are usually more experienced but these days you can meet a middle aged man that live with his mom and who haven’t accomplished anything the same way you can see a 18 year’s old guy who is more proactive than an older entrepreneur, and who know how to treat a woman properly.
I haven't dated or been in any sort or relationship yet, so my opinion isn't worth much, but I like guys my age and older guys too.
My thought behind it is that they're wiser and more experienced in life? That's attractive to me. Also, I tend to have more in common with them because I was raised with older music, movies, etc.
Obviously, within reason, but that's why I like older guys.
5-10 years is not a big deal. if he's hot and smart and kind, who cares. but i wouldn't go anywhere near a guy past 30. no thanks. i don't like geezers. and please, that pic you posted is too much. that is definitely not a 5-10 age gap dude.
Unless she picks a guy with less money than herself it’s because he has more resources than the younger guy. Period. Bet you never seen one of these young women with a broke older man tho.
Men mature more slowly than women do on average. I wouldn't be able to be with a guy my age or younger than me unless we're on the same page. My boyfriend is 4 years older than me, and we're at the same level of maturity.
They’re better looking, in my opinion, and they’re more emotionally mature.
Personally, I think they seem like they have more knowledge and are more ahem experienced. Also generally less shallow.
Girls as everyone knows are more mature for their age and guys of same age are quite immature so... don’t blame us for liking older guys.
Girls brains tend to develop earlier than guys. So they’re more mature. And then want to date someone whose maturity matches their own. Generally speaking.
They're generally more mature than guys around my age. (Of course, it's not a rule). And I can't stand immature, childish people. Most of the guys around my age I know are still stuck in a 15 year old mentality.

Older men are more mature but younger men are more attractive. It depends on what the girl is looking for.

i think it has to do with daddy issues a 21 year old girl i worked with had a boyfriend who was two years older then her but she hooked up with a 40 year old guy
I think it's just a maturity thing ha girls mature faster than guys I think ha so they assume a guy a few years older is more mature and probably more financially stable then young guys I don't know though
