Little (step) sister is a bit clingy.. help?

Im 24 & my step sis is 8(or 9 i forget)
Tends to visit every other week or however the visiting agreements go between my step dad and his ex wife for her. I know she would like to spend time with me as we are still siblings, but i feel she wants to spend more time then what feels necessary. I don't mind playing with her, as i am used to babysitting kids and watching over younger relatives, but i don't want people to get the wrong idea. I feel weird, but maybe im just being paranoid? She'll sometimes do things like random splits and all types of flexible poses and try to get my attention, and she always keeps strong eye contact when she does it, but sometimes she will mainly do it when other people aren't around, i dunno why. she doesn't do any thing like sneak to my room or try cuddling or having me pick her up, but she usually always tries to grab my attention when she can, even over dumb things.
I'm confused , i don't understand this. Help me?

Guy, don't sexualise it. If you're not used to children it can be a little weird. They're dorks, they do silly stuff and they look up to you. Its up to you to draw your sibling boundaries. Try engaging her in the way you would other younger cousins.
If its your gut feeling telling you she's fixated. Be parental, firm and don't engage her more than necessary.
"Good job kid, you're strong. I'm such an old man, I think I'd break my back." Laugh it off and walk away.
"Cool, where'd you learn that?" wait for answer and go back to doing what you were doing.

She could just be looking for a way to get you involved. I've been in a situation where children that I just met wanted to show me school reports and art work that they were good at, a new skill that they learnt. They're proud of it and want to show everyone just how great something is. Be a big brother. Kids just wants some affection and affirmation. Reinforce that you're the big brother. Sometimes that security is all she needs. Does she have other siblings?

Agree w 1st answer. And maybe lack of attention to her also.. critical years for both I can say :D those years are like 'school child' and kid need to find its place, help her and watch behaviour (not to worry but to select and educate her ) imitation are often and insecurities in meeting new (people ) can easily be replaced with familiar (wanting) behavior.. her physicall growth encourage psychological and reverse..

Yes’you’re being paranoid. She loves you (no, not in a romantic way), thinks you’re cool and looks up to you. She wants your attention and for you to be proud of her. Kids are often like that with a big brother/sister, older cousin or whatever it may be.

man enjoy all this man she looks up to you. im older brother i dont get to see my sibling been like years. so you next time you have her take the kid out for ice cream or something nice with the split and stuff does she take like dance classes

You're being paranoid. She doesn't understand sexuality at her age, you're probably one of the few stable adults in her life.
