Do guys always touch a girl they're into?

This guy shows a lot of signs of being interested in me. He gives me lots of attention in group settings, makes a lot of eye contact, is eager to prolong dead-end conversations, seems uncharacteristically nervous around me sometimes, etc. But he's never touched me (on purpose, anyway). I mean, he's far from a cuddly teddy bear, but I've seen him casually touch other people on the arm or shoulder. Does the lack of touch necessarily mean he's not interested? He's a little... um, socially awkward, if that matters at all.

try holding his hand sometime or resting your hand on his shoulder, his knee, even his thigh... if your really adventurous, you could could complain your back is sore, grab his hands and ask him to give you a back rub while placing them on your shoulders. Give him a kiss on the cheek sometime.

If that's a little to intimidating, try more playful things. Give him a fake punch in the shoulder. When your laughing around kinda bump into him and stuff in a playful way. Play with his hair a bit. Do what your comfortable doing, and do things that you would enjoy him doing to you.

Bottom line is, If you want him to touch you, you need to let him know that your OK with him doing so... some guys are just a little overly respectful of a girls personal space.

You'll know pretty quick if he's not into you if you start trying these things. And I know some people might say "well maybe he's not a physical guy"... my argument is, from your post here, you want someone a bit physical... so test him out.

no, he's worried you might not like it...so if you want him to touch you then I guess you have to initiate it and give him the green light..but I think you can answer yourself better than anyone based on the way you made a clear observation of his behavior ...cos we both know he is interested so, take him or leave him :) hope that helped.

Yes I touch girls I am interested in.

Well there are a few girls I am interested in, and I dare not touch SOME of them the way I touch others. Like some girls I won't dare to touch them because I can get too shy, and I feel sometimes the vibe girls give out may also affect my propensity for touch.

But when I touch or talk to girls I like, I DO NOT do it consciously like "i want to show I like you hence I do this," like some sort of robot schematic thing. I just do it instinctively.

1. Like just smile at girls, ask them about their eye-sight and how soft their eyes are etc, because I am a little short-sighted THESE DAYS because of stress, its hard for me to tell who is who. But then my crush comes into class, and I say something like "i may be having bad vision these days to tell who's who, but I always know when you come in because the room brightens up =)" Stuff like that.

BUT back to touch:

Yes I do touch, like if a strand or 2 of he long hair is slipping over her cheek towards her mouth, I would brush her hair back round behind her ears. Or just pull at it gently.

Or if she's seated to my right in class, sometimes I would just touch her hair, just like that... just go for it. Or if I'm passing by her and as a way of saying hi or goodbye, just touch her shoulder. Or I poke.

With my ex, I loved stroking her eye-brows.
