Part of the culture I think. Women in the TV and movies are often portrayed as indomitable and can do no wrong. Largely because writers are terrified of writing female characters with flaws. Take Rey from Star Wars. Total Mary Sue. And the myriad of characters who can go toe to toe with someone 6 inches taller and at least 80 lbs heavier. Couple that with a frothing media that constantly props women up like they can do it all, single mothers are strong, believe all women, I'm a strong independent woman (crowd cheers) . All the support in the world. Meanwhile guys are toxic, condescending, second rate parents who can't do housework or take care of kids because they're just dopes. You grow up watching this on TV and it becomes reality. You're a woman you don't need to compromise or work on yourself. You are queen. And all these boys should be begging you for your attention. They're flawed, you're not. You can do it all, you can have it all, and you don't need a man. Except when the reality of the situation hits them and they crumble. Instead of teaching them to be strong, it's made them egotistical monsters with skin as thick as tin foil.

I guess, it's due to nobody , checking them, or their self checking.

Ego is a scary thing between gender lines.

I'm a person, your person, it's alright to be bad bitch, but not being over zelous to the point of hurting everyone just because.

I as an observer , I have notice the biggest issue is illogical states of both genders.

Rare cases some women will not own self guilt and try to transfer it onto others that initially have no part in the primary or secondary transgression.

Men have been guilty of this fact too.

When it comes down to it , the facts are , an individual or a group, gender, has responsibility to be better at mutually trend or putting energy and actions, to build, less players, more open, less butt hurt, respectful, aware people.

We must do better for one another.

To me, that's the negative side of some women and something you see on here a lot. It's just having a huge ego and it often shows up in women as conceit. Every woman who is attractive knows that power but some abuse it but the funny thing is because their looks are temporary, the more conceited they are, the more they have a hard time when they age and are no longer attractive. It's like the wicked queen in snow white and her magic mirror on the wall... jealous, vain and evil. Not a good look.

Because they've got everything. The looks, the money and attention. People who grew up with a gold spoon in their mouth tend to be very egotistical and cocky, though that doesn't only apply to women. Men are like that as well, but though who have a brain are down to earth.
There are few people who think the world revolves around them, but they will drop down to reality once they face harsh testaments.

I think women are susceptive to thinking the sun rises and sets from their ass hole because if a deep rooted societal issues that existed for a long time.

For a couple example- a double standard:
Women can't wear stuff that's too revealing, but if they do the opposite they are prude.

Women face undeserved shaming no matter what they choose to do in life.
And contradictory demands may make them spiral before seeing things clearly:
I think it's because women are constantly "watched" by others in their minds, that they think the world revolves around them.

But that's just a speculation.

Women are coddled. They are often grouped with children in terms of the priority list of who to shelter and protect. This is combined with the fact that the way they attract love and affection is not based on character tests, proof, performance, accumulation and resumes, but just on being looked at, existing and being welcoming/friendly.

So, they have less real world consequences while the world mostly loves them and values their time and attention. They are basically rock stars to varying degrees. So it's not surprising for some women to think the world revolves around them.

Look up the " Women are Wonderful Effect " , BOTH genders view females far more positively than males , in the West , males are heavily demonized and bashed by the " media " and in feminist led academia , whereas females are elevated to angelic " do no wrong " status. Females always receive a lot of validation in most cases , hence a lot of very large female ego's , males pretty much none... we have to prove our worth !!

There can be different reasons for that but what I think is that they're popular and get lot's of attention and no one ever stand's up to them. Such things can make that girl think that she is center of attraction and everyone just revolves around her. Or she's from a rich family and her family gave her everything she asked for and made things happen for her such experiences can also make them think that they're the center of attraction.

It's an upbringing, same for a boy. If you're brought up a certain entitled spoilt way, then you'll continue to live inside that bubble for the adulthood, if mummy, daddy or partners are paying the bills and making the hard decisions.

I literally saw a boy wear a boy power t-shirt and was suspended from school as it was seem offensive, yet the girl did the same and was allowed in school. Talk about double standards and sexism.
