Girl says she feels cold?

So I saw on one of these questions about ten things to know about girls, that when they say they are cold they want your coat? So how much validity is there to this, Because this girl I like told me she was cold the other day in class and I offered her my jacket and she said she didn't want a jacket. Is this usually a test by you girls or are you just saying you feel cold?

here the thing, this would depend on the relationship. its kind of trick. if she likes you she would want the jacket but she would refuse it because she would not want to make it obvious by taking your jacket. the thing is girls don't want you to really ask but they would want the jacket. what I mean is you ask her but just to be kind, what you do is put the jacket on her but the way you do it would tell her if you like her or not. if you do it quick and with little contact as possible and no eye contact it tells us you're just being kind. if you do it slowly and prolong the moment and make eye contact and you let her feel that connecting you feel when you like some one she'll know think you like her. if she says this cold line and makes eye contact she wants the jacket and the way you respondend sends a message.

Ok, whether she felt cold or not, if she took your jacket, it's a good sign she likes you. erm, it's like wearing your bf's shirt in bed...there's the smell, and the fact that it's his, and its on her, and he can see how cute she looks in his coat that could be a dress on her...see what I am saying.

However, if she said she was cold, and didn't take your jacket, I'd say either she was lying, she wants you to warm her up in another way...OR, (ahem) she isn't interested...

She might just be someone who says they are cold but never do anything about it, and well then she's just peculiar, cause who wants to be cold, when you could be warm?

Well this could go two ways, one she's not into and doesn't want your jacket, or she could be like me, and just feel bad taking your jacket, that and I just prefer arm around me and snuggle up next to the guy, body heat totally beats a jacket.

hmm well usually she'd take it if she likes you but maybe she didn't want you to feel obligated to give it to her. I know it sounds kinda silly and complicated but she might have wanted you to tell her no seriously it's OK for you to take it I'm not cold at all. Sometimes women say no so you can talk them into it. Dumb I know but they do it lol that's why you guys will never really understand us ;P
