Interested in a guy at the gym?

So there's this personal trainer at the gym that I have the hugest crush on.

He seems a little bit shy, and I have a gut feeling he's single.

Every time he comes in the gym, I see him look around the gym, its almost like he's looking for me because once he sees me I'm the only person I see him looking at. I noticed last time that every time I looked up at him to check him out, he was looking at me. My cousin said she only sees him look at me when I'm there and when I'm not there that he just looks around at everybody.

I asked my guy best friend about this and he said a lot of guys know that its considered really sleazy to hit on a girl at the gym while she's working out so that might be why he doesn't approach me mid workout. He also said that if I have my ipod in, which I usually always do that its hard to be approached.

What do you guys think?

I wouldn't want to be approached in the gym, mainly because I'd have a red face and would not feel like flirting. LOL... But if he checks you out, why don't you play "dumb" and ask him for a different work out. He is there for helping you. While he shows you some new things, you won't have your Ipod on and you have time to flirt. If it is not too expensive for you and he is available to do so, ask for an hour Personal Trainer with him (because you want to try out something new).

The general idea of simply approaching him is a good one. Still, he is a personal trainer, meaning he is working, and it's somewhat rude to interrupt someone while they are doing their job especially when they are working with someone. It's also rude to their client. So I'd say go with the general advice of the posts, just pick the right time.

No harm in it, I wouldn't have minded being approached by some girls in the gym... And yes I'd feel abit creepy going over to her, ironically I don't think it's creepy if she were to come over to me...
