My impression of the second guy is, 1 he could throw me out of the window, 2 he wants an equally muscled woman, 3 he probably spends his life at gym.

Truth is 2 and 3 are probably false. My boyfriend has large muscles, not quite like that image, but he is still very large and very tall. And once you get over how intimidating he is, I begin to find that it's extremely attractive. My boyfriend can lift me up and carry me into the house, has the sex appetite of a rabbit and will never let me struggle with heavy bags.

The reason why girls will pick the guy at the top is because he's what they're more accustomed too. The cheeky boyish features over very masculine ones. Want a sexy athlete look over vain body builder. In my opinion, footballers have the ideal male body. Strong male legs, broad shoulders, wide bodies, defined, proportionate. Don't forget women also like men who are tall. Having an extremely muscular torso will shorten your body.

I find big muscles intimidating af. Knowing they could hurt me and probably worse and I wouldn't be able to defend myself is scary.
So I don't like guys who got super big muscles. This is the only big reason I got personally.
Another one is also to do with taste, I don't think it looks very good

I dont really care, in the end women go for masculine men, not what the beauty and modelling industries dictate them. Women know that men's bodies are diverse too, not only their own.

If men work out, some will grow more muscle than others. Different muscle groups advance faster and some slower for different men, its biological.

Bringing balance can take 5 years of work to do it.

To achieve and maintain a body like the 2nd guy takes a lot of time, effort, diet and dedication. Unless the woman is quite understanding it can be difficult with the relationship.
