Some women feel they need a "project" or someone they can fix. Some women aren't great themselves and want to be on the moral high ground in a relationship. Some have self-esteem too low to leave garbage men. Some have left too many.

I know what you're talking about though, you look a certain women's lives and wonder why they choose to suffer.

I think what this is really about is that actions speak louder than words. We have probably all met the kind of person who always says the right thing and is very nice and polite, but somehow they are not someone you would trust in an emergency, or someone you greatly respect. They feel fake.

Because he’s not being authentic. People need to earn our trust and respect before we treat them like a girlfriend. If he’s doing that from the start he clearly wants something from her and isn’t honestly telling her what he wants. Women don’t like dishonesty.
